Pple Healthcare honours our Care Worker graduates

November 20, 2022

“When you are a caregiver, you know that every day you will touch a life or a life will touch yours.” Anon

Pple Healthcare had the pleasure and privilege of hosting our inaugural Care Worker Graduation Ceremony at our Cape Town offices in August, for 64 newly qualified care workers.

Care Workers provide a key service to people in need, across the length and breadth of our country, delivering uniquely honourable and often difficult work, caring for the ill and infirm, touching lives, and providing relief and assistance where needed. It is work that can be made easier, more efficient and more effective with relevant training.

In partnership with our principal client, the Department of Social Development, as well as Glen Lilly Training College, Pple Healthcare enabled 64 of our Carer Workers to attend a training course and graduate with a SETA-accredited Home Based Care certificate from Glen Lilly.

The Care Worker graduates were proudly inducted into the healthcare fraternity with the Nurses’ Pledge and a beautiful and symbolic candle-lighting ceremony.
